About 1 km — a flat, easy walk of roughly 15 minutes. Most guests visit it more than once, and early morning is the quietest time.
Where exactly is Lepo Mesto?
Lepo Mesto is a guesthouse in Lisine (Strmosten BB, 35215 Despotovac), Eastern Serbia. The Lisine waterfall (Veliki Buk) is 1 km away, about a 15-minute walk. Belgrade is about 2h30 by car.
How do we book a room?
Send your dates through the contact form or by phone/WhatsApp. We confirm personally with availability, price and a suggested room. A small advance secures the reservation. You can also book a room through Booking.com.
Is the wellness area included in the stay?
House guests have access to the wellness area with a pool, sauna and jacuzzi. Evening slots fill first after adventure days, so tell us in the morning when you would like your warm-water hour.
How do we get to Lisine from Belgrade?
By car it is about 2h30: highway A1 to Markovac, then through Svilajnac and Despotovac to Lisine. We will send exact directions and a map pin with your booking confirmation.
What is there to see around Lisine?
From Lepo Mesto: the Lisine waterfall (Veliki Buk) is a 1 km walk, Resava Cave 15 minutes by car, Manasija Monastery 25 minutes, Krupajsko Vrelo and Senjski Rudnik 40 minutes each by car, and the Vinatovača rainforest 40 minutes by jeep or as part of a tour. Prskalo waterfall and Mount Beljanica are nearby too.
Do we need our own 4x4 for the guided adventures?
No. The guided routes run in our vehicles with a local driver-guide. You only need walking shoes, a layer for the mountain and your camera.
Which season is best?
Every season has its argument: spring for loud waterfalls, summer for forest shade and long days, autumn for color in the Resava valley, winter for snow, sauna and empty trails. The house is open year-round.
Is breakfast included? What about dinner?
Breakfast is included with every room. Dinner is available at the restaurant with local ingredients from the Resava and Homolje area — tell us in the morning if you will join the table.
Does Lepo Mesto have a restaurant?
Yes. The Lepo Mesto restaurant in Lisine is open to everyone, including visitors who are not staying with us — drop in after the waterfall. We serve home cooking made with local ingredients from the Resava valley and Homolje. Breakfast is included for room guests.
Are children and pets welcome?
Children are very welcome — the family room and garden are made for them. For pets, please write to us first so we can prepare the right room.
